The Refinery contains a unique mix of spaces that can host a wide range of events, including: corporate events, product launches, markets, trade shows, art installations, live music, weddings & more. The venue has several spaces that can be rented individually or collectively to suit events of all sizes. Our industrial backdrop & on-site amenities make it one of the most original venues in Charleston!

 

• Central location! Only 5 minutes from the heart of Downtown Charleston. Our venue sits within the creative corridor of Charleston’s upper peninsula & neighbors the lively brewery district.

• • The Amphitheater: an outdoor stage, grass amphitheater, men’s and women’s restrooms in converted shipping containers, & a small concessions or catering space.

  • The Platform: an open-air rooftop deck with views of the Arthur Ravenel  Jr. Bridge. Comfortably host up to 225 guests!

  • The Railcar 6155: a renovated 1956 passenger railcar that serves as our greenroom for bands. Intimate space for small events with a capacity of 29 (indoor); 100 (indoor+outdoor).

  • Indoor event space coming soon!

• On-site food and beverage options include: ​The Whale and Cleats Restaurant. Food trucks are always welcome!
